Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information, including your email address and, when you use Google sign-in, the name, profile image, and account identifier Google returns to us.
• Project content, including prompts, form settings, uploaded images and documents, reference links, generated scripts and media, project status, and support messages.
• Credits and transaction records, including the package, amount, provider, transaction identifier, payment status, and account balance. Stripe or PayPal handles full payment credentials; FlareClip does not receive your full card number.
• Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser or device information, request timestamps, and server, CDN, authentication, and fraud-prevention logs.

2. How we use information

• Create and secure your account, send one-time login codes, and complete Google sign-in.
• Accept your instructions and files, plan and generate content, run quality checks, store project progress, and deliver previews and downloads.
• Maintain credits, process purchases and redemptions, reconcile transactions, and prevent duplicate charges or credits.
• Provide support, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability and usability, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

3. Legal bases

Depending on where you live, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, comply with legal obligations, and rely on consent where the law requires it. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was already lawful.

4. Service providers and sharing

We share information only as needed to operate FlareClip, comply with law, protect users, or complete a business transaction. Provider categories may include cloud hosting and storage, CDN and security, Google authentication, email delivery, Stripe and PayPal payments, AI image/video/text/voice services, and contractors supporting generation or customer service.

These providers process information under their own terms, our account settings, and, where applicable, contractual protections. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer with appropriate notice and safeguards.

5. AI processing and project content

Your prompts, uploads, references, and intermediate files may be sent to selected AI and media-processing providers to create the result you requested. FlareClip does not sell private project content or use it to train a public FlareClip foundation model unless you separately and clearly opt in. Third-party providers process submitted content according to their current API terms and account configurations.

6. Cookies

FlareClip currently uses necessary cookies for sessions, Google OAuth security, sign-in redirects, and account protection. These cookies are required for authenticated features. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice and request consent where required.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep account and project information while your account or project remains active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain backups, and meet tax, accounting, payment, and legal obligations. Temporary source and generation files may be deleted automatically under storage lifecycle rules. Some transaction, security, and backup records may remain after a deletion request when legally required or technically necessary.

8. International processing

FlareClip and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms or other appropriate safeguards. Local laws in a processing country may differ from those where you live.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability; withdraw consent; or appeal a privacy decision. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a legal privacy right.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, including access controls, secure authentication cookies, restricted infrastructure access, and private storage controls where configured. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so keep account links and login codes private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. Children

FlareClip is not directed to children under 13, and paid accounts are intended for people who can legally enter a contract. Do not submit personal information about a child without the authority and consent required by applicable law.

12. Updates and contact
